Hi my name is Myra and I'm from the Philippines, the archipelago consisting of 7,107 islands endowed with bountiful gifts of nature ranging from beautiful sights and landscapes to line of beaches with white sand and pristine waters and diving spots which are some of the world's best!
When I came to Japan for a brief visit in autumn last year, I fell in love with the place! In every city I visited I met many Japanese people who were kind and very helpful. I was made to think that Japan is special, with its very distinct culture and truly wonderful people!
And I am so glad and privileged to be back, but this time for a few months training on Multicultural Coexistence here in Toyohashi. Moving from Tokyo to Shiga-ken and finally here in Toyohashi, my fascination for Japan and Japanese culture and way of life has incredibly grown.
I love the discipline of Japanese people and the diverse yet unified culture especially here in Toyohashi. I hope for a productive training while meeting a lot of people, gaining friends, learning, experiencing and discovering things and creating memories along this sojourn.
I am having a wonderful stay so far. And right now I feel exceptionally grateful.
